50 Year Reunion of 4 Premierships Teams
The next President’s Lunch will be a celebration of the 50th anniversary of one of the most remarkable achievements in the Club’s 90 year history – 4 premiership wins in 1973.
It was truly a season of ‘champagne football’ for the Ormond Amateur Football Club, with the 4 premierships won by the Seniors (A Grade), the Reserves (A Reserves), the Under 19s (Junior Section 1) and the Under 17s (Waverley District League). Already, more than 30 of the premiership players and officials have accepted the invitation to attend the afternoon of reminiscing and story-telling.
The Lunch is on Saturday 29 July in the social room at EE Gunn Reserve, and all guests will enjoy a complimentary drink of their choice on arrival, and a delicious two course meal. For more information, click here.
Cost is $45 per person, and all bookings and payment can be made via this link. As well as booking online, please email David Symes with your name and the name of your guests, particularly if booking a table for several guests.

Bruce Bourne (Senior premiership player) will host the Lunch and will re-cap highlights from all matches, as well as introduce and speak to a selection of premiership players. There will also be plenty of time for guests to mingle and re-live past glories.
The Lunch is not restricted to players and officials from the 4 premiership teams, all Ormond supporters are welcome to attend.
