ANZAC Tribute Match and Lunch 23 April 2016

All Ormond supporters are invited to the Club’s ANZAC Tribute Match and Lunch being held on Saturday 23 April 2016 at EE Gunn Reserve. Ormond’s opponents that day are Old Ivanhoe Grammarians.

The Luncheon will commence at 12 midday, and will involve a number of special guests and Club supporters. The guest speaker is Colonel Jason Cook, from the Australian Defence Forces, and other invited guests include representatives from Anzac House, local RSL Sub Branches, a Federal and State politicians, and representatives from the Glen Eira Council.

The Luncheon will be followed by a pre-match ceremony on the oval that will involve the players from both teams and the umpires. The on-ground ceremony will include the lowering and raising of the Australian Flag accompanied by ‘The Last Post’ and ‘Reveille’.

Cost is $35 per person, and includes a generous serving of a Luv-a Duck roast duck and salads, followed by cheese and fruit platters.
