The upcoming President’s Lunch is themed to acknowledge the sponsors and community partners of the Ormond footy club – all vital to the ongoing sustainability of the Club. The lunch coincides with an important match against Marcellin, one of the clubs trying to snatch a final four position.
Guests will be entertained after lunch by Frank Dunnell, recently appointed to the VAFA Board, and former AFL premiership player with Essendon and foundation player with the former Brisbane Bears Football Club (now the Brisbane Lions). Following his AFL football playing days, Frank had a long and distinguished VAFA coaching career, having coached St Bernard’s, North Old Boys, Old Essendon, Old Melburnians, and Old Geelong.
