We are thrilled that former Hawthorn & Western Bulldogs player, Matt Suckling, has selected Ormond to continue his post AFL playing career.
Matt is a highly credentialed player, having played with the Western Bulldogs for the past 5 years (2016-20), and before that 102 games with Hawthorn (2007-2015), including two AFL premierships (2014, 2015). Matt is enjoying playing with a district footy club, an environment with which he has fond memories from his early football days in Wagga Wagga before being recruited into the AFL.
Matt is also an Assistant Coach, and his knowledge, skills and behaviours will be important and valuable additions for the senior playing group.
