Fifth Day Lunch – Kevin Bartlett

The second Fifth Day Lunch for 2023 will be a ripper, with Tiger champion and media personality, Kevin Bartlett, as guest.

This ‘not to be missed’ afternoon of laughter and tall stories with KB is being held Friday 8 September, McKinnon Hotel, 12.15pm – 3.15pm.

KB is a Legend of the AFL’s Hall of Fame and was the first VFL/ AFL player to reach the 400-game milestone.  He was a key member of a golden era in Richmond Football Club’s history, playing in 5 premierships (1967, 1969, 1973, 1974, 1980) and winning 5 Jack Dyer Medals.  His career (1965-1983) included 403 games, 778 goals, Captain (1979), 4 times club leading goal kicker, 20 Big V teams, and is a member of the Richmond Team of the Century and the Hall of Fame (Immortal Status).  He also coached Richmond for 88 games (1988-1991).

Following his retirement as a player, KB developed a successful career as a sports commentator and broadcaster on both television and radio, including long stints with World of Sport and Radio SEN.  He will be interviewed by another former VFL/ AFL player, Paul Callery who played 182 games and kicked 200 goals with 3 clubs: Melbourne, St Kilda and South Melbourne (1970-1980).

All Monders’ supporters, friends and community members are invited.  The cost is $85 and includes a two course meal and all drinks included.
