New Coach, New Game Plan

Newly appointed senior coach, Ashleigh Lever, has made a significant mark on the players and his fellow coaches during the pre-season period.  A new game plan has been conveyed to the players, and all training sessions have revolved around the fundamentals and principles of the new style of play.  Feedback from the players has been fantastic, and the excitement of the playing group is mounting as they approach the practice matches to test the new set-plays and drills in match play.

Welcome again, Ash, to the Ormond footy club.  We all wish you every success this season, which is your first senior coaching assignment.  Also, a big welcome to Mark Cooke (assistant senior coach) and Michael Oaten (U19s), who is returning to Ormond as a team coach.  And good to have Steve Keleher (Reserves) and Paul Konstanty (Club XVIII) back in 2015, and good luck to ‘rookie coach’, Greg Hammond (assistant reserves coach).
