OAFC Annual Golf Day
Twenty-five golfers teed off at Kingswood Golf Club last Friday morning (7 August) to participate in the annual OAFC Golf Day.
The 2015 tournament winners were Matt Oaten and Steve Aarons, who proved the strongest combination of the event, which used the Stableford scoring system as the basis for determining the winners of the tournament. Steve Aarons said, “Both Matt and I contributed equally to the success, with my front nine generally being the team’s winning scores, and coming home on the back nine it was matt’s superior golf play that proved decisive.”
Big thanks to Mark Gilmore for organising all aspects of the tournament, including the sponsors, the golf registrations and the event play.
