On Saturday 13 February, the VAFA held its second annual VAFA Conference. The aim of the conference is to disseminate important information to all club officials about the coming season. Presentations from some guest speakers who are specialists in their field was a highlight this year, and topics included social media, coaching, concussion, website and club management. There was also a large display from VAFA sponsors.
The Ormond AFC was very well represented by Richard Simon, Steve Manning, Tim Ashford, Greg Holman, Leo Dalton, Gary Murray, Greg Hammond, Damien Cleary, Ashleigh Lever and Andrew Kahofer. Thanks to these Club personnel who gave up their Saturday morning to attend.
The Conference presented new ideas and information for Season 2016, and provided a great opportunity for club representatives to mix and share ideas as well.
